Hi there! Duke here... its been several months since my "big surgery" and I must say, I am doing great! I didn't need that ol' eye anyhow; it was just a minor setback. I can chase the birds, play fetch with my balls, and keep up with my fur sisters all the same as the other two-eyed kids. In fact, I think I get a little more attention from the ladies now ::wink:wink::
I have been going to training classes with my foster mum. She says I have superb manners and could be a fantastic therapy dog. My trainer seems to think the same thing. I already completed my first 7 weeks of obedience. Now I need to pass some CGC test, whatever that means. Then I can meet with a big-wig judge to pass for therapy. This so called "cancer giant" did not stop me, and it should not stop anyone else. Just because I may have lost a little something along the way, I sure feel I have gained a whole lotta love!!
