Meet Oz - Medical Care Needed Prior to Adoption

Age: 5 yrs Gender: Male
Weight: unknown Dogs: Yes
Kids: Yes Cats: No
Contact: Danyelle FBR#: F10-228

Update 3/22/11: Oz is actually just starting his htwn treatment this Tuesday, March 22nd. He will be ready for his forever family April 25th! He has lots of love to give whoever should open his home to him! Though he is deaf, he has lots of character for such a laid back fella.

Update 2/6/11: Oz is the sweetest dog I have ever met! Nothing bothers this guy. He likes other dogs, all people, and absolutely LOVES kids that give him attention... (See picture:) He is so easygoing and laid back. He isn't fond of being left alone much though and would like a nice retired homebody to give him their undivided attention.

Oz is currently going through heartworm treatment, but is still excited to meet his forever family in the meantime. When he's better, he'll be able to spend all his energy on loving you. Are you Oz's perfect home?

11/25/10: Oz was found wandering the streets when a nice family found him. They tried to find his family but had no luck. Oz is doing great with his fur and skin siblings alike. He gets along with everyone there. His foster mom says he is a true gentelman, and just wants to hang out. He is pretty mellow and calm. Oz would love a forever family of his own where he can get all the attention he deserves after losing his family at an older age. I can promise you he will make your heart melt!! This big fella is a real sweetheart.

**Oz lacks hearing of his own, so he will need to take cues from another fur member of the family. He is doing great with the children in the home as well as the doggies.
