Update 3/9/11: Rudolph has been given a clean bill health from the vet, and he is 100% ready for his new forever home! He's a beautiful boy who would love to be part of your family!

1/10/11: Well...the report is in and it isn't the greatest news. The tumor is mast cell cancer and the nice folks at FBR and my Doctor are discussing my medical treatment. I feel good. I look good. I am happy for the life I have now. I am going to keep a positive attitude to help me through the next step. Please keep your fingers crossed for me or say a prayer or whatever.... In the meantime please look at some of my fellow foster brothers and sisters to bring into your home. I will let you know when I am ready to be adopted.

1/5/11: Here I am, in a new cozy warm place for Christmas! The nice folks at the shelter found me wandering and brought me in, fed me and called Florida Boxer Rescue to help me find a new home and the medical attention I need. The coolest part is I got to go for an airplane ride! Now how many homeless dogs can say that! The wonderful people at Pilots n Paws agreed to give me a ride from north central Florida down south to my new foster home. That would have been a long ride in a car but it was only a hop skip and a jump by airplane. Bret said I rode in the airplane like a pro, it was pretty cool. Thanks Bret, you are the best!

When I was picked up the shelter folks noticed I had a growth hanging from my leg...well how could you NOT have seen it, it is the size of a grapefruit for crying out loud. It sure is annoying too. That's gotta come off and the sooner the better as far as I am concerned. I just hope it isn't something real nasty, if you know what I mean. So far my foster mom and dad say I am a good boy and now that the rules are set I am getting along well with my foster brother and sister. I love to play with a ball and well, kind of fell in the pool one day when I was chasing after it. Dad says I gotta be a little more careful.

I have an appointment with the vet to see about my growth, I'll let you know how it goes. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Love Buster Boy
