Details: Yappy Hour hosted by Green Bench Brewing Company. Green Bench has graciously offered to give a complimentary beer to any patron that donates at least $10 to FBR.

Osceola County Animal Services Community Open House

osceolaLast summer Osecola County Animal Services participated in the ASPCA/Rachel Ray 100K Challenge. This is a national adoption contests where 50 shelters attempt to save more lives through adoption, rescue and transfer to other agencies. In the past few years their involvement with the 100K Challenge as well as creating new programs such as a new web site, our Facebook page, off-site adoption venues, volunteer and foster opportunities has allowed the shelter to grow and improve in many ways. They now accept donations that help medical needs of shelter pets such as Heartworm treatments and minor medical conditions and funds for pet retention programs. Osceola County Animal Services is very proud of the number of animals they are able to save with the help of our Rescue partners.

Spring Pet Festival

Boxers Love Bikers – Cape Coral Bike Night

1922491_10152704997685949_1117530288041507887_nThe City of Cape Coral’s Parks & Recreation hosts one the largest collection of motorcycles, live music, food, games and entertainment in Southwest Florida. Bike Night has become one of Cape Coral’s most popular events, drawing a crowd of approximately 12,000 people.

Time: 5 pm to 10 pm
Place: 1000-1500 block of SE 47th Terrace, Cape Coral
Details: Florida Boxer Rescue’s Information and ‘Kissin Booth’ has become a huge attraction at the event. Who, after all, can resist a boxer?

Area volunteers and some of our amazing foster dogs will be on hand to share information about the Rescue Mission and the boxers will be busy giving kisses to raise funds for dogs in need.

Come on out & see why we believe “Love is Adoptable”!

9th Annual Paw Fest

PAW FESTThe Kiwanis Club of Largo announces the ninth annual Paw Fest.

Paws For Peace Walk

 

pforpTails are wagging in anticipation of the Fifth Annual Paws for Peace Walk– a fun and leisurely stroll for pets, their families and friends to raise awareness about domestic abuse and its effect on pets and their owners:

Harbor House is Orange County’s only state-certified domestic abuse service provider and seeks to eliminate domestic abuse in Central Florida. Harbor House has the only on-site kennel in Central Florida for the pets of domestic abuse survivors at its Emergency Campus.The Paws for Peace Kennel removes a key barrier to survivors seeking help and safety and ensures no family member is left behind in an abusive home. Since its opening in 2012, the kennel has been a safe, temporary home to 73 dogs, 22 cats, 3 guinea pigs, 1 bird, and 1 turtle!
