A 501(c)3 Tax exempt, Not-for-profit group

Our primary mission is to identify and provide for those needy Boxers in Florida, who have no other support, and who would otherwise be destroyed. Our secondary mission (as resources permit) is to assist responsible breeders in placing Boxers that have been returned and current Boxer owners, who, for various reasons, choose to give up their dog. Click here for additional info on our rescue efforts.

Please read FAQ'S page for answers to your questions, before calling--we pay for this phone service and the money comes out of our rescue fund. The less $ we spend on calls, the more we have to assist abandoned Boxers.

As part of our pet education services , Florida Boxer Rescue warns prospective Boxer puppy owners, that the puppies you see advertised in the newspapers for $200-$700 are NOT HEALTH TESTED, and in most cases, are also not well-bred.

If you purchase one of these puppies, you are contributing to the decline and commercialization of the Boxer breed by supporting these unprofessional and "back-yard" breeders. FBR, Inc. is only aware of three Boxer breeders in Florida who perform necessary health testing to ensure fit, well-adjusted, and temperamented litters.
