Don't forget about your pets!

Dogs and cats are domesticated, so they depend on their human caregivers in times of crisis! Don't forget about their lives and needs, as your family prepares for a natural disaster.

Check on the Tropical Weather Status for planning purposes. When you get to the "Central Florida Hurricane Center" homepage, look on the left side and under "CURRENT STORMS" click on the one you want to see.  Don't forget your Boxer's medical needs in your planning!

Also please visit the Pet Friendly website that lists motels, campgrounds, emergency vets, and other important resources that aid in travel planning with your Boxer (or other pets).

See our suggested checklist below, for "must-have" items to bring along in case of an evacuation.

Take your dog's vaccination records, especially proof of Rabies.
