.................................................Boxer Bulletin Board

We almost always have a lack of foster home space, and therefore regretfully cannot serve every single Boxer dog in Florida who is displaced. We devised this page as a way for the public to be notified of additional Boxer dogs in need, but FBR does not get involved with behavior evaluations, health checks, vaccinations, etc. You, as the adopter, must understand from the family and the dog's records, what health or behavioral issues may exist.  Florida Boxer Rescue, Inc. does not charge a fee to list the dog here or to the adopter who "adopts" the dog. We do not advocate offering pets for free, but it is up to each individual family whether they will charge a fee to the new person acquiring the dog.

Though the Boxers on this page remain with their families and do not enter our rescue program, we still care very much about the dog's well being and fate, that is why we allow descriptions to be posted here, in hopes that we can help a Boxer find a better home than if the family were to give the dog away or take him to a shelter.

You must fill out this form if interested in a dog on this page and indicate you are interested in dog OS#.

JT

JT is a three year old boxer mixed with pit bull. His color is on the brownish red side with some brindle. He would do best in a family with older children (teenagers) and a family that has no other dogs, or a female dog that is submissive. He prefers to have all the attention. JT is a lovable dog and shows much affection, He is very playful and loves the water. He knows some commands such as "sit" and "come". He needs plenty of back yard space and loves to swim and play in the water. JT has been neutered and is currently on heart worm prevention. He is up to date with all his shots. His vet records are available if so desired.

Yawny

Hi, I'm Yawnny! I am a four year old brindle female. Guess how I got my name? That's right, when I was a little pup, my family always caught me giving cute little yawns! How would you like to share your sofa with me and see me do my cute yawn? Rocky and I have been together for his whole life and it would be nice to stay in the same family. We sure could bring a lot of love into your family!

Lucy

Lucy is a beautiful girl, very sweet and very well cared for. The family is devastated but can no longer live comfortably with both dogs. It is as the owner stated "domestic violence camp" at their house. Lucy would probably do okay with a male boxer, but no females. Lucy would also be very happy as an only dog.
